100 Ssumday: “If they abandon the import rule, the identity of the League of Legends could be tarnished and all the fans will lose the team they always supported.”
By 2021, 100 Thieves have rebuilt their entire band around Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho. It looks like they are working like they are second behind Cloud9 with an 8-4 record. Just a few days before their match week 4, Inven Global contacted Ssumday to talk about the team and some issues.
This interview is like:
Q1: You are in the semi-finals this season. How is it going now?
A1: Our results so far are not bad, but it is a bit sad because I can see a lot of things we can do better in our games.
Q2: As you said, you are in second place right now. 100 Thieves played well in the Lock-in as well, but was knocked back. What happened then? Does it lack focus?
Or is C9 a stronger team?
A2: I think it’s lack of focus. Team spirit is low and I see that all of your energy is declining. While we were heading into Game 5, we lacked much focus compared to the C9.
Q3: How is the lock-in?
A3: It’s the kind of game where they give away prizes to the champions. Obviously we designed and implemented like any other game, but looking back it does not feel that it means much.
