Apple to announce Macbook M2 chip next month
The M1 is a SoC (System-on-chip) chip made by Apple itself that is powerful and energy efficient. The chip was officially announced in 2020 and is now about two years old. Although it’s strong, technology needs to move forward, so this year is the year we will see another next-generation chip, the M2, succeeding it.
Apple plans to announce the Macbook line with the M2 chip in March, according to reports. Unfortunately, the above report does not specify the details of these computers, but it is not expected that much will change, just switch to the new M2 chip. Meanwhile, the Pro Motion feature and Mini LED display on the Macbook Pro M1 Max may not be available either.
At the event, Apple may announce the Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, iMac and Mac Mini, and at the same time, the cheaper iPhone SE and iPad are expected.
