Fortnite at Epic Games announced today that Fortnite players living in Russia are no longer eligible to participate in the Fortnite cash prize competition. The decision will take effect on March 11, 2022.

According to the announcement, players can still “earn in-game cosmetic prizes.” Russian players who do not win from previous events will have to complete the prize draw before March 22. Non-cash prizes will be “stuck until Epic payment providers can continue to support rewards for players living in Russia.”
