EA to stop making FIFA football games from next year
Indeed, Electronic Arts (EA) recently announced that after FIFA 23, they will no longer be producing football games under the FIFA name. The termination will take place next year after the name has been used for more than 30 years.
Therefore, from then on, EA will use the name “EA Sports FC” instead for new football games. However, this does not mean that the game is completely different, just change the name. That’s because EA has licenses for more than 300 football partners, as well as exclusive deals with the Premier League, MLS, La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A. The delisting may have been caused by financial problems between the two companies and they decided to part ways.
Of course, until EA Sports FC officially launches next year, we will know that there will be something different. Fans can also look forward to the release of FIFA 23, which is the latest name in the game family.
