To complete its Game Changers lineup, the Japanese squad ZETA DIVISION has added five female VALORANT players, the group announced today.

After a month-long testing period, the team started looking for a female squad on June 15 and eventually found suzu, aco, Moco, romia, and flappy. The VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers Japan, which will start on August 7 and end the following day, is where the squad hopes to participate.

“As a female team of ZETA DIVISION, we will do our best to deliver exciting matches,” the team said in the release.

The top four teams in an open qualifying that precedes the event will advance to compete for a share of the $7,236 USD prize pool. The top two will be eligible for the East Asia Game Changers circuit. According to the team’s press release, Game Changers in Japan will be the country’s first all-female national VALORANT competition.

For the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers Championship later this year, one team from East Asia will also qualify. The event is scheduled to take place in Berlin from November 11 to November 15.

To become the finest Game Changers team in the globe, teams from all around the world will compete. While teams from Brazil, Latin America, the EMEA region, and Asia-Pacific will also be present, two North American teams will qualify for the competition.

At VCT Masters Reykjavk, the male team from ZETA DIVISION placed third, but they were unable to go to VCT Masters Copenhagen, where FunPlus Phoenix were declared the winners.
