Final VALORANT roster for Team Liquid includes dimasick and new coach eMIL.
Dmitriy “dimasick” Matvienko, a VALORANT player from Kazakhstan, has been added to Team Liquid’s roster to cover the void created by the departure of Aurimas “Dreamas” Zablockis in July. Emil Sandgren, a former Guild Swedish head coach, was also hired by Liquid to take the role of Connor “Sliggy” Blomfield.
Dimasick and eMIL join Liquid immediately before the EMEA VCT Last Chance Qualifier, which offers just one slot in the highly anticipated event of the year, the 2022 VALORANT Champions. Liquid, Guild, G2, Acend, Natus Vincere, OG LDN UTD, BBL Esports, and M3 Champions are participating in the LCQ competition.
“His focused mind, skillset and humour bring a great dynamic to the team,” Liquid said of dimasick. “We are so happy to have you on board!”

Since the beginning of July, when Dreamas left the organization after spending just one month with the team as a result of Travis “L1NK” Mendoza’s benching, Liquid’s VALORANT lineup had been without one member. Dimasick, on the other hand, has been waiting since his separation from Team Finest in April 2022 for a fresh chance in free agency.
Regarding the coaching position, the European team hadn’t played with a captain since Connor “Sliggy” Blomfield’s resignation in May. Liquid has Sliggy as a member since since the group created their VALORANT roster in August 2020.
At the EMEA VCT LCQ, which will take place from August 7 to 14, Dimasick and eMIL will make their debuts under the Liquid banner.
