Fnatic faces 100 thieves in VALORANT Champions 2022.
At VALORANT Champions 2022, 100 Thieves beat Fnatic 2-1 to maintain their perfect record against EMEA.
Due to numerous players testing positive for COVID-19 before their match versus Fnatic, 100 Thieves was already at a disadvantage. As a consequence, as Fnatic performed on the big stage, the entire squad played alone.
On Pearl, Fnatic’s chosen map, 100T maintained calm despite the situation. Less than a week passed after the Last Chance Qualifier before 100 Thieves got a chance to train on Pearl once it was introduced to the rotation. Young gun bang from 100 Thieves stepped up for his squad as Astra. Bang was the game’s MVP for their 13-10 victory against Pearl with a headshot percentage of 57 and a 1.75 KD.
In the second map of the series, Fnatic made a comeback, winning multiple rounds in the start to take the lead right away. Even though Bind was chosen by 100 Thieves, Fnatic was unquestionably in charge throughout the game. Derke felt at ease utilizing the Operator and holding down locations as the Chamber. However, he wasn’t even the map’s MVP as Fnatic prevailed 13-7. In the second map as Skye, Mistic significantly improved, dropping a 2.55 KD with an average damage per round of 176.

Both teams traded blows on the series’ pivotal map, Haven, which led to a draw at the end of the first half. Gunfights were harder to win on Mistic than on Bind, and the members of 100 Thieves took advantage of this. 100 Thieves defeated Fnatic 13-7 to win Haven thanks to Asuna’s outstanding outplays. 100 Thieves will compete against the South Korean group DRX to see which team advances out of groups.
