Are you trying to find a new Xbox game controller? Microsoft’s newest controller, which will be released later this month, could hold the answer for you.

The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core, the follow-up to the Xbox Elite controller that was introduced in 2015, was revealed by the business today. This is the second iteration of the Series 2 controllers. The aim? allowing gamers to customize the controller with more freedom.

What’s new about the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core?

The Elite Series 2 Core will only include the necessities when compared to the Xbox Elite controller. It has the customary wraparound rubberized grip, shorter hair trigger locks, and adjustable-tension thumbsticks. The controller is white, though, to set it apart from the non-Core edition.

If you’re looking to buy the additional components, they will be purchasable with the “Complete Component Pack.” The pack includes:

  • Charging dock
  • Two classic thumbsticks
  • One tall thumbstick
  • One dome thumbstick
  • One cross-shaped D-pad
  • Two medium and two mini paddles
  • USB-C cable
  • Carrying case

The company has worked on the controller’s reliability and durability, and both the Core and non-Core versions will have Microsoft’s one-year limited warranty.

According to Daniel Ruiz, senior marketing manager for Xbox accessories, “We’ve heard users loud and clear and have continued to enhance Elite Series 2 controllers to be more dependable than ever before with improved components that are made to endure.”

The Elite Series 2 Core is currently up for pre-order for $129.99, which is $50 cheaper than the black model. Shipments for the Complete Component Pack will begin on September 21 and are priced at $59.99.
