Two World Champions are added to Hanwha Life’s League squad for 2023.
Hanwha Life Esports is now the big winner of the 2022 LCK offseason as this move has been officially confirmed.
ADC Park “Viper” Do-hyeon, a former member of EDward Gaming and the 2021 World Champion, was added to the League of Legends roster on November 22. Hanwha Life Esports has now officially announced that former DRX top laner Hwang “Kingen” Sung-hoon and mid laner Kim “Zeka” Geon-woo will be joining for the 2023 season.

The two are now the reigning global champions after defeating T1 in one of the most competitive championship series in League history. Kingen and Zeka both played key roles in DRX’s incredible run; Kingen won MVP in the grand final, and Zeka gained notoriety for leading his team and solo murdering elite competitors like EDG’s mid laner Lee “Scout” Ye-chan.

There were rumors about who would join Hanwha Life and Viper to form the super roster before the announcement. In addition to Zeka, Scout was also a contender for the mid lane spot, but Zeka won out, according to former Griffin head coach Han “H Dragon” Sang-yong.
