It was revealed today that the Ludwig x Tarik Invitational, which will include four outstanding teams, will mark the end of the VALORANT offseason.

The Sentinels from North America, The Guard, and TSM are among the teams participating in the Ludwig x Tarik Invitational, which will start on January 14 and end on January 15. South Korean team T1 will round out the roster.

The bulk of the organizations for the new VALORANT Americas league, which is scheduled to start later this year, are situated in Los Angeles, where the event will take place in a LAN setup.

Fans will have their first opportunity to witness the new VALORANT rosters at the game since they were assembled over the offseason, which started at the end of last September. The Brazilian duo Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi and Bryan “pANcada” Luna were signed by Sentinels from LOUD, and the Brazilian duo Zachary “zekken” Patrone and Rory “dephh” Jackson were recruited from XSET.

Given that it got two of the top players from the old LOUD roster, Sentinels will have something to prove. TSM and The Guard are two teams Sentinels won’t be facing up against anywhere. Due to the organizations’ failure to be selected as partners with game creator Riot Games, neither team was able to qualify for the Americas international league.

Despite the fact that some members of the lineup have past North American competition experience, the fourth team at the event, T1, will represent the APAC area. Most notably, Joseph “ban” Seungmin Oh, Ha “Sayaplayer,” and Son “xeta” Seon-ho competed at the top level in the area.
