Fortnite is teasing the addition of a new LTM to the popular battle royale, with leaks suggesting that the new game-mode will be associated with the ongoing Marvel collaboration. With the battle royale’s wide-reaching popularity since its initial launch, Epic Games has introduced a plethora of different ways to play the game throughout its life. Fortnite has featured multiple different LTMs and permanent game modes added to the game, including popular permanent modes like “No Build” and “Reload” among others. Now, Epic Games is hinting at its next LTM with a popular crossover reportedly connected.

Marvel has been one of Fortnite‘s most consistent recurring collaborations with a plethora of different characters from the comic book juggernaut added to the game. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has seen countless skins and cosmetics added to Fortnite, with Chapter 5 Season 4 adding skins based on Gwenpool, Mysterio, and more. The newest season of the battle royale even added exclusive locations based on Marvel properties, like Castle Doom and Doomstadt coming to Fortnite‘s in-game map. However, the Marvel crossover is now set to receive another major boost with an upcoming LTM.

Fortnite officially teased the impending addition of a new LTM to the game on Sunday morning through the game’s official social media accounts. The teaser simply states that Fortnite will be receiving a “New LTM on Tuesday,” without sharing any details about the mysterious new game mode. Prominent Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR would later add onto the announcement, hinting at the addition of a new “Heroes vs. Villains” LTM to coincide with Fortnite‘s ongoing Marvel-themed season. ShiinaBR also suggests that all of Fortnite‘s past Marvel Mythics will be re-added to the game with the new LTM.

Fortnite Debuting New LTM on Tuesday

While Fortnite has not officially announced details about the new LTM, Epic Games has teased plenty of other future updates coming to the battle royale. Fortnite revealed that the Siphon mechanic will be making a return next year as part of a trial to test the feature for the Competitive game modes. Leaks and teasers have also hinted at a variety of upcoming patches for Fortnite, ranging from the potential return of Chapter 2 content to a major crossover with NASCAR.
