If there is one thing everyone can agree on, the popularity of white graphics cards among board partners has increased significantly. Despite over a year since the introduction of the RTX 40 series, new graphics cards continue to emerge almost every week. The TUF GAMING model from ASUS is particularly noteworthy for two reasons. It represents the first TUF Gaming model in white from ASUS within the RTX 40 series. Additionally, it marks the debut of the initial TUF White model among all GeForce series released by ASUS up to this point.

When comparing the RTX 4070 Ti TUF White to the original black design, there are, in fact, minimal changes. Both cards maintain identical specifications and design. The only notable change is the color of the shroud, fans, and backplate. ASUS has not made modifications to the I/O bracket or introduced a white PCB for these cards, so the underlying technology remains consistent

For the TUF RTX 4070 Ti, this translates to several modifications compared to the NVIDIA Founders Edition. These changes include power connector with move to a standard 8-pin design and a shift in the number of display outputs. This card offers five connectors, encompassing two HDMI 2.1 ports and three DisplayPort 1.4a connectors. In essence, this means an additional HDMI connector is now available.

The card features a full AD104 GPU with 7680 CUDA cores, coupled with 12GB of GDDR6X memory across a 192-bit memory bus. These specs are of course identical to the not-to-be-seen RTX 4080 12GB that NVIDIA ‘unlaunched’. ASUS has enhanced these specs by increasing the maximum boost clock to 2760 MHz (5.7% OC), which can be adjusted using the GPU Tweak software, although it’s not the default frequency.
