ASUS ROG GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition with Liquid Metal and 360mm AIO Cooling Sells at $3800
ASUS ROG has unveiled the overclocked variant of the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, known as the “ROG Matrix Platinum GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GDDR6X.” This advanced GPU model incorporates liquid metal technology and a substantial 360mm AIO (All-In-One) water cooling system. It comes with a price tag of approximately $3800 as spotted in Japan. Interested buyers can expect the product to be available starting January 12, 2024. The ROG Matrix Platinum GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GDDR6X is equipped with an innovative cooling solution that includes a sizable copper base plate, a custom-designed robust pump unit, a thick 360mm radiator, and a high-performance 120mm fan supporting magnetically fixed daisy chain connections.
These components contribute to elevated clock speeds, with the GPU overclocked to 2,700MHz (OC Mode) or 2,670MHz (Default Mode) from a rated 2,520MHz. Key specifications of this graphics card include 16,384 CUDA cores, a memory speed of 21Gbps, a memory bus width of 384-bit, 24GB of GDDR6X video memory, and multiple display outputs with HDMI 2.1a x 2 and DisplayPort 1.4a x 3, allowing simultaneous output to four screens. The interface is PCI Express 4.0 (x16), and it requires a 16-pin auxiliary power connector, as well as a recommended power supply unit of 1,000W or higher. The card’s dimensions measure 286.5mm in length, 148.3mm in width, and 24.5mm in thickness, while the radiator dimensions are 400mm in length, 120mm in width, and 65mm in thickness. The card weighs approximately 3.49kg, making it a powerful addition to high-end computing setups.
