During its CES presentation, ASUS revealed that the ROG Flow X13 will receive an update in 2023. The ROG Flow X13 has a new NVIDIA laptop GPU in addition to an AMD Ryzen 4 APU, just as the ROG Zephyrus G14. While the latter will only support the RTX 4070, which delivers 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 60 W TGP with Dynamic Boost, the former will support graphics cards up to the RTX 4090. The following I/O is also included in this year’s ROG Flow X13, claims ASUS:

  • 1x 3.5 mm combo jack
  • 1x HDMI 2.1b
  • 1x Micro SD Card Reader (SD 4.0)
  • 1x ROG XG Mobile interface
  • 2x Speakers with Smart Amp Technology
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery
  • 1x USB 4.0 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery

The chassis of the ROG Flow X13 (2023) is 299 x 212 x 16.7 mm and has a 75 Wh battery in addition. Regardless of the setup, the ROG Flow X13 weighs 1.4 kg overall. The computer can be customized with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5-6400 RAM, a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, a 13.4-inch display that runs at 2.5K with a 165 Hz refresh rate, and 3 ms reaction times, according to ASUS. A other option is the ROG Flow X13 (2023), which will come with an FHD screen that outputs at 120 Hz, has 7 ms reaction times, and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage.

Notably, the ROG Flow X13 (2023) has just one SO-DIMM slot, and half of its RAM is soldered directly to the motherboard. As of right now, ASUS has not disclosed the price or the full list of locations where the ROG Flow X13 (2023) will be sold. However, Europe will get the new ROG Flow X13 later this quarter.
