The professional Apex Legends team at TSM, led by Philip “ImperialHal” Dosen, recently said that they were developing fresh plans and compositions that would surprise their rivals. Today, when TSM announced the addition of coach and commentator, Raven, the picture became a little bit clearer.

Raven has a reputation as one of the most futuristic minds in the game thanks to his prior work with professional Apex squads for NRG and ALGS Championship favorites GMT Esports. The action implies that TSM will seek a more aggressive playstyle in upcoming ALGS events.

Although TSM’s composition and playstyle have plenty of time to develop before the third year of ALGS competition, raven nonetheless revealed some ideas for the new looks TSM is developing for next season. The characters that longtime support player Jordan “Reps” Wolfe will be portraying will undergo one significant modification.

“I am going to get Reps off these dogshit defensive legends that don’t do anything,” raven told his stream, filled with TSM fans asking him questions about what plans he has for the team. “No more Gibby, we’re definitely not playing fucking Wattson… I want more damage.”

Reps has always been regarded as among the top support players in the world, but many fans have questioned if playing against legends like Wattson and Gibraltar in the past has hindered him. But it’s evident that Raven wants the squad to adopt a more aggressive fighting stance, trying to outpace foes with damage output rather than relying on shields and fences to keep opposing teams from pushing them.

On August 20, TSM will take part in SoulZ season three, a Japanese LAN competition. Fans could get a sneak peek at some of the ideas raven and the team have in store for the future, even if they shouldn’t expect the team to have everything sorted out at that time.
