The 2022 League of Legends World Championship circuit has finally received more details and is scheduled to tour North America.

Riot Games said today that the Worlds will begin on September 29 and end on November 5 this year.

From September 29 to October 4, play-ins will kick off the circuit at the Arena Esports Stadium in Mexico City. The remaining Worlds events will then take place in the United States, beginning with the group stage at Madison Square Garden in New York City from October 7 to 10 and from October 13 to 16. From October 20 to October 23, quarterfinals will also be hosted at MSG.

The semifinals will then take place at Atlanta, Georgia’s State Farm Arena on October 29 and 30. On November 5, the Worlds will come to a conclusion with the finals, which will feature the two teams that have excelled above all others in this worldwide tournament. The finals will take place in San Francisco’s Chase Stadium.

The organization also disclosed the event’s seedings, keeping with the tradition of other Worlds incarnations. 12 of the 24 teams who qualified for the World Championships had to advance through the play-in stage in order to advance to the group stage, while the other 12 qualified straight.

However, it is noteworthy that the LCL will not be able to send participants to this year’s Worlds. The LEC replaces them with one more berth, bringing its total to four, putting it on level with both the LPL and the LCK. They are followed by the LCS, which has three representatives.

Tickets for the different events at Worlds 2022 have not yet been disclosed, although information is anticipated to be released soon. The greatest stage of the year will host the commencement of the worldwide League tournament on September 29.
