Next year, one of the most renowned professionals in Call of Duty esports will be playing for a new team.

The Los Angeles Guerrillas have acquired Arcitys for the 2023 Call of Duty League season after he played with the Atlanta FaZe for the previous two seasons, the team announced today. Arcitys will play with Huke, Spart, and Neptune, who all finished the 2022 CDL season with the Guerrillas, in LAG’s starting lineup for the following season.

LAG, on the other hand, had a season that was quite unpredictable in 2022. The team didn’t finish the regular season in the top eight of the rankings and didn’t earn a spot in CoD Champs 2022, despite winning its first CDL tournament at Major Two in April. SlasheR, Huke, Spart, and Neptune made comprised the Guerrillas’ lineup when they finished the most recent season. However, this lineup only participated in the Major Four qualifications and the Major Four.

The Guerrillas will have a new coaching staff for the Modern Warfare 2 season in addition to the inclusion of Arcitys for 2023. On August 9, the team fired head coach Bevils, and new team manager Ricky will be a former coach. At this moment, it is unknown who will lead LAG in 2023.

This action demonstrates that Atlanta FaZe will require the addition of a new player in order to compete against Simp, aBeZy, and Cellium in the upcoming season.
