Fortnite launches $ 36 million 24-hour fundraiser for Ukraine
Fortnite’s new season has just begun with a theme that is happening in Ukraine. In response, Epic Games has announced that it will donate its first two weeks of profits to humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
The season kicks off on March 20 at around 8am CT, and as of March 21, Fortnite has raised more than $ 36 million from epic item sales. Announced in a tweet on Fortnite’s official account.
Xbox also announced this morning in a tweet that it will partner with Fortnite to donate all proceeds from the game for the next two weeks to humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
