Fortnite player hilariously proves why Zero Build mode is better
Fortnite Battle Royale has been extremely popular. Genre enthusiasts who enjoy putting their game abilities to the test by surviving in a 100-player battle to be the last person standing have flocked to it.
However, Fortnite’s building mechanic, which can change the tide of a fight, distinguished it from other BR games out there.
Over time, players have acquired the title of “sweats” by honing their building abilities and dominating Battle Royale lobbies, leaving casual players in the dust. As a result, Fortnite added Zero Build mode in Chapter 3 to help them enjoy the game and bring in new players.
Since then, the Zero Build mode has grown in popularity, and one fan has hilariously proved why it is superior to all other modes in the game. Here’s how they demonstrated it.
Fortnite player illustrates a diagram why Zero Build mode is better
A Reddit user named imalonexc has created a meme featuring Fortnite star Ninja and Peely skin while explaining why Zero Build mode is better in the game. Under the build mode section, a crying Ninja is shown while pointing an Assault Rifle at Peely and saying, “Peely builds a wall and you can’t shoot him.”
However, under the Zero Build mode section, a happy Ninja face is shown while aiming at a dead Peely skin and saying, “you can shoot Peely u win.
The hilarity of this diagram mocks Ninja since he plays Zero Build mode on his streams and has repeatedly admitted that he prefers it to the builds mode.
The meme drew in players who agreed with the diagram, where one player said:
“I like Zero Build, not just because [there’s] no sweats but also because of overshield.
“It’s nice being able to get out of minor injuries (eg vehicle mistakes) and small fights unharmed whilst still making you have to med up after serious combat.”
Another one argued:
“The fact that most build pros could probably slam ZB lobbies even harder is crazy [because] you [got to] keep in mind that not only is their aim usually insane but their reflexes are a lot better too.”
A third chimed in:
“I like Zero Build because it nicely balances the whacky world of Fortnite with the realism of moving tactically.”
Fortnite’s player base is constantly debating about the better game mode among Battle Royale or Zero Build, hence Epic now allows fans of both modes to compete in tournaments across modes of their choice.
