FunPlus Phoenix parted ways with Nuguri
FunPlus Phoenix parted ways with 2020 World Champion Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon today. It is the first change for FPX after the final game of the 2021 League of Legends season. The announcement did not surprise fans since rumors surfaced that the group would part ways with Nuguri and midlan Doinb last month. Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon was reportedly contacted by LCK, according to rumors circulated by Rita on Twitter.
If he signs with LCK, he will return home for the fifth season after a year in the LPL. Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon has shown great form this season but has not been able to change his team’s results.
Today we are here to announce the departure of Nuguri.
We are very grateful for your dedication to the team over the past year. Your incredible performance throughout the journey will be remembered by all of us.
Wish you all the best in the next adventure, Nuguri❤️!#FPX #FPXLOL pic.twitter.com/DOJMsUTC50— FPX (@FPX_Esports) November 17, 2021
