G2 reportedly parted ways with CS: GO coach Damien “maLeK” Marcel
CS: GO French coach Damien “maLeK” Marcel is set to leave G2 Esports after helping the team finish second in the PGL Stockholm Major, according to French news website 1pv.fr. The 35-year-old has been in charge of G2’s CS: GO team since November 2018. The G2 slightly changed CS: GO in 2019 with the addition of Nemanja “nexa” Isaković and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač. The top candidate to replace maLeK is Serbian Luka “emi” Vuković, who coached nexa and huNter-on CR4ZY in 2019. He resigned from coaching and returned to playing and is currently playing at FunPlus Phoenix.
