Ahead of CES, which is scheduled for early next year, LG has already announced some of its new products before taking them to the full event again. Among the products that LG has introduced before are also gaming PCs, this is the first time we have seen a Gaming Laptop from the LG brand.

Previously, the LG Gram was LG’s line of laptops, but only for general purpose work, while this time the gaming model was renamed UltraGear, which used to be a line that mostly focused on gaming monitors. The full name of the gaming PC is the LG UltraGear 17G90Q, which is equipped with a number of top-notch features, such as a 17.3-inch IPS LCD display with FHD resolution with a refresh rate of 300Hz and a Respond Time of 1ms.

The screen also supports up to 99% sRGB color rendering, and one of the highlights of the screen is that LG is equipped with a camera that can capture FHD images and also supports Windows Hello face recognition. This is not a feature we often see on gaming PCs.

In terms of power, LG has confirmed that it is equipped with Intel’s 11th generation Core i7 CPU along with NVIDIA’s advanced graphics card, the RTX 3080 Max-Q, and has the highest RAM option of up to 32GB. Like 1TB SSD storage as well.

The battery power that LG has on the UltraGear 17G90Q is 93Whr, which is a decent amount of power compared to its body, as it is actually a 17-inch gaming PC with a thickness of 21.4mm and a light weight of only 2.72 kg. For the I / O port, LG has provided two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a headphone jack, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port and a MicroSD Card slot.

The price of the first gaming PC from the LG brand has not been confirmed yet, with the South Korean company announcing more on January 4 at CES.
