At CES 2024, MSI introduced several new models in Nvidia’s RTX 40 series, including the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 Super 16G Expert. This model is notable for its design, which is inspired by Nvidia’s Founders Edition. The RTX 4080 Super 16G Expert utilizes a push-pull airflow design with a unique fan configuration. This setup includes a vapour chamber for cooling, with one fan drawing in cool air and another expelling warm air. The device features MSI’s “Zero Frozr” technology, which keeps fans idle in desktop mode. Its aluminum casing is designed in a style similar to recent automotive radiator inlets.

The clock speeds for the RTX 4080 Super 16G Expert have not been revealed, and the product page and pricing details are yet to be announced. MSI’s presentation at CES 2024 will focus on the Expert model equipped with an RTX 4080 Super, but information about other RTX 40 Super models receiving the Expert treatment is limited. There is speculation about a possible MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super Expert model.

This variant features a vapor chamber, brushed aluminum on the cooler and backplate, and offers customizable RGB lighting through RGB Mystic Light. It also includes a dual BIOS feature, allowing users to switch between higher clock speeds and quieter operation.
