Need For Speed Mobile gameplay is leaked online and here’s what we think
Need For Speed Mobile, the next big release in the racing genre by Tencent Games and Electronic Arts, is once again in the headlines as a detailed gameplay video is leaked on the internet. This is not the first time that the gameplay has been leaked online, last year the gameplay was leaked too, This time however, the leaked content is much longer and gives a substantial idea as to what the fans of the franchise could expect once made available.
Need for Speed Mobile offers a combination of previous hit titles of the series
In spite of no official announcement, the leaked gameplay actually gives out a lot of information as to what the fans of the series can expect from the mobile rendition. Need For Speed as a franchise has a very rich history on console and PC, the series is now considered a benchmark for the genre. Every time a new racing game is released, if considered a hit is immediately compared to Need For Speed titles.
Throughout the years, Need For Speed as a series has provided its fans with a lot of great hits like Need For Speed Heat, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Need For Speed Rivals, and most recently, Need For Speed Unbound. As per the leaked footage, the game will offer somewhat of a mix of these games in a single mobile title.
There are certain parts of each game that can be seen in the gameplay, the race tracks and game setting look very similar to Need For Speed Heat while certain sects of game graphics look straight from Need For Speed Unbound.
The graphics and detailing of car models look very promising alongside solid gameplay which looks very similar to Asphalt 9 but with better textures. One thing which stood out in the leaked gameplay was the game design, the race tracks, and the environment surely give the game a very interesting and solid personality of its own.
As stated before Need For Speed Mobile will offer a lot of traits of previous releases thus fans of the series will find it easier to connect well with the game.
Another Closed Beta Test might be around the corner for NFS Mobile Online
Following the private closed beta last year from TiMi studios for Need For Speed Mobile in China, Tencent is also planning to start another test for fans and testers alike, however, the entry prerequisites are hard to get by. The testers, according to rumors, would require a QQ account to participate.
Not just this, the players will also be required to have a real Chinese phone number from a local operator. The main onus is to make sure that testers from only China are able to test the game for which the tests are being organized.
To top it off, will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement to test Need for Speed Mobile, where they will be prohibited to share leaks of the game when played. Violation of such agreements may lead to fines and even sanctions from even playing the game.
Not much is known about when the game will be made available for the rest of the world, but as OG Need For Speed fans we hope that the sooner it will be the better. As far as the gameplay is concerned it looks solid and it will be interesting what reception it may get once made available.
