The 2022 League of Legends World Championship qualifiers, semi-finals and finals are held in four cities. Riot Games has not yet announced which North American cities will host the 2022 Worlds. North America has not hosted the World Cup for a long time since 2016, with the 2016 League of Legends taking place in San Francisco, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.
Riot Games originally planned to host a tournament event in the United States this season, and the LCS Championships final will be held at The Prudential Center in New Jersey. Organizers have finally canceled the event due to the turmoil surrounding Kovid-19, but Riot Games has confirmed that the 2023 LCS finals will take place at The Prudential Center in New Jersey.
The 2021 League of Legends World was held in North America, but moved to China last year. The goal is to give Chinese fans a new experience after the country hosts the tournament, which limited the number of spectators in 2020.
Due to the turmoil surrounding the relocation of Kovid-19, the 2021 tournament was moved from China to Europe earlier this week. It is not clear when China will host the League of Legends World Championship again.
Riot Games did not provide any details regarding the details of the 2022 League of Legends World Championship events, but fans should expect more information about the tournament next year.
