Riot Games files lawsuit against Vietnamese gaming company Imba Network
Riot Games has recently been sued by a Vietnamese game maker called Imba Network for plagiarizing key features of its popular League of Legends game.
The game being sued by Riot Games is called I am Hero: AFK Tactical Teamfight, developed by the game developers Imba Network. The main points that Roit Games describes that Imba Network copied include the names of the characters in the game, the design of the characters and the story behind each character, and the company, which has its origins in Vietnam. Only minor modifications compared to the original League of Legends game.
As a result of the Riot Games lawsuit, the court asked the court to ban the sale of the Imba Network game because the game infringed on its original LoL game, and they also demanded compensation. $ 150,000 for one violation in this case.
