Ubisoft’s highly anticipated open-world mobile RPG in the Assassin’s Creed franchise Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade has now opened Closed Beta registrations for both Android and iOS. Not to be confused with the pre-registrations before launch, the game is expected to follow up with a few more tests before availability on a global scale. A trailer was also unveiled at the Ubisoft Forward 2023 event.

Experience Ancient China warfare like never before

The next installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, Codename Jade, is developed as a mobile-first game. Announced last year, the publishing duties are handled by Level Infinite. Set in 215 B.C., the game will be bridging the gap between Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Players will assume the role of Xia, a skilled assassin raised by the master, Wei Yu. The game unfolds within the historical context of the Qin dynasty, a period marked by the establishment of the first unified empire in China.

From the glimpse we can get from the gameplay, the captivating landscapes of ancient China are part of the open-world game. As an Assassin’s Creed title, it promises a vast number of weapons on work inspired by Chinese cultures, such as spears, double swords, and bows allowing players to experience the thrilling Assassin’s Creed combat.

With the links now open, players can sign up for the beta tests on the official website. The steps are as follows:

  • Click on the Register and Subscribe button on the website.
  • If you have an existing account, simply log in, or else click on Register Now.
  • Enter your email ID and click Send. You will receive a unique code, fill it in as well. Click Continue.
  • Create a strong password, verify, and press Done.
  • Opt to receive updates, and finally, you are registered. You will be notified once the beta starts.
